Solutions-oriented Alex Riley is passionate about working with people and systems to bring out their best and expand their potential. An effective listener, Alex is a team player experienced at meeting challenges with insight, assessment, planning and leadership. His dad, Jim Riley, is a technology sales leader whose footsteps he is now following into the industry. Alex joined Ken Leiner Associates as a technology sales recruiter in July 2023 after spending six years honing his leadership and communication skills as a middle school English teacher. Among his strengths are leading with empathy, translating complex ideas into simple-to-understand terminology and being an innovative thinker. Alex has worked consistently to improve outcomes, and is valued for his ability to present ideas, give feedback and collaborate.
Alex received undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Human Development from Virginia Tech and his Master of Science in Education from Johns Hopkins University.
When not at his desk, you can find Alex and his wife running trails, rock climbing, or adventuring out in the mountains around their Denver, Colorado home.
