KLA Supports IES&BD Awards 2012

May 17, 2012: It’s that time of year again and we’re excited to announce our sponsorship support of the Institute for Excellence in Sales and Business Development (IES&BD) 2012 Awards. “It’s great to see that other companies aren’t just rebounding from the economy of recent years, but thriving,” says Ken Leiner, president of KLA. “Developing ‘A’ Players and ‘A’ companies are what we’re all about.” The IES&BD Awards are the only independent awards that promote and advance excellence in sales and business development by recognizing companies and organizations that have demonstrated outstanding leadership and strategic vision in sales and business Development. Nicknamed the “Oscars for sales achievement” by some, the awards highlight how companies are approaching business development management strategies, team building, leadership and implementing unique and powerful sales and business solutions. KLA salutes Jay Nussbaum, who received the 2012 IES&BD Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of his high-achieving career as a champion in sales. As Ken puts it, “It is well deserved; he’s a legend in the Federal technology world.” Award categories included Excellence in Sales & Business Development Innovation, Excellence in Team Building, Management and Development; Excellence in Sales & Business Development Training; Excellence in Customer Partnering.
